2026

Today, as I turn 2,026 years old, I am struck by the undeniable momentum of change—the rising tide of feminism and the Me Too movement—that has swept across the globe, reshaping the landscape of power, privilege, and equality.

The journey towards gender equality was a long dream, marked by centuries of struggle, sacrifice, and gender based crimes.

From the suffragettes who fought for the right to vote to the trailblazing feminists who shattered glass ceilings and challenged societal norms, women have been at the forefront of every major social and political movement, demanding justice, equity, and autonomy.

And yet, despite the progress that has been made, the journey is far from over. The Me Too movement, in particular, has brought to light the pervasive nature of sexual harassment and assault, shining a spotlight on the systemic inequalities that continue to plague our society. It has ignited a global conversation, empowering survivors to speak out, holding perpetrators accountable, and demanding meaningful change.

What was a dream. With each passing day, patriarchy dies, giving way to a more just and equitable world.

I believe that the time will come when women will not only free themselves from the taboo and religious chains that have bound them for centuries but will also liberate humanity as a whole. For in the struggle for gender equality lies the key to unlocking the full potential of humanity—the key to building a world where all individuals are free to thrive, to love, and to pursue their dreams without fear or prejudice.

But it will not happen soon....
