It seems that my digital presence, my voice in the vast expanse of cyberspace, has been silenced by the heavy hand of censorship.

In a world where freedom of expression is touted as a fundamental right, it is disheartening to see the arbitrary and capricious nature of censorship rear its ugly head. My profile on MySpace, a platform where individuals are encouraged to share their thoughts, ideas, and creativity, has been summarily deleted due to reports of nudity and "offensive" language regarding religion and politics.

Isn't the beauty of democracy and free speech the ability to engage in open dialogue and debate, even – and especially – when opinions differ?

As i gaze out at the vast expanse of the ocean before me, I am filled with a renewed sense of determination and resolve.

While my voice may have been silenced in one corner of the internet, it will continue to resonate loud and clear in the hearts and minds of those who dare to read.

To speaking truth and to never backing down in the face of adversity. Is what freedom is.
